Program Assistant Overview

Program Assistants (PAs) are trained individuals who play a key role in supporting the delivery of the CanSkate and Pre-CanSkate programs under the guidance of the CanSkate Director. They are essential to creating a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment for our skaters.

PAs may come from a variety of backgrounds, including:

  • Current club skaters

  • Former skaters

  • Athletes from related sports (e.g., hockey, ringette, speed skating)

Program Assistants are valued volunteers and an integral part of the program’s success.
